The United Sates is demanding the personal data (DNA, banking data and fingerprints) of people that are visiting the country from the European Union, and many member states are refusing out of concern for the misuse of private data of their citizens.

As a Canadian, I am going to research this to make sure that this is not a demand being made of my country because it goes way beyond the pale in terms of the rights of individuals from sovereign nations... I am appalled that any country has gone alone with it, and I sure hope that mine has not and will not regardless of the consequences.
